I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adult and adolescent individuals, couples, and families. I am passionate about integrating the latest findings in neuropsychology, positive psychology, attachment, anthropology, embodiment, and experiential therapy. My approach (Somatic Experiencing®) blends understanding the body, mind, and emotions to support personal growth by transforming stress, trauma, and difficulties in relationships. My goal is to help people connect back to their innate sense of aliveness and meaningfulness with themselves, others, and the natural world. In the past 8 years I have worked in a variety of settings such as inpatient mental health and addiction, outpatient addiction, outpatient teens and their families holding roles including individual/family therapist, family weekend facilitator, clinical director, and group therapist navigating topics such as parenting, blended families, nonviolent communication, conflict
resolution, developmental transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, feeling stuck in career and life, creating new family patterns, individual/family development, spirituality, emotional intelligence, chronic stress, and sexuality. I believe psychotherapy can be a creative, safe, and playful process for people to experience better health and well-being. Not just in our sessions, but after leaving our time together. This is what I strive to achieve in my own life and with those I journey with. I focus on helping people connect with their organic sense of resiliency, empowerment, and vitality in order to achieve the personal and relationship changes they are looking for.
